Simran (she/her) is an Interdisciplinary Studies PhD student interested in policy responses to the interconnected crises of food insecurity and climate change in BC. Recently, Simran led the impact and engagement agenda at London South Bank University, helping academics translate their work into real-world change. Simran also works as a research assistant at the OH-Hi Science Co-Lab, examining the socio-economic impacts of zoonotic diseases and preparing public-facing documents including rapid summaries and policy reports.
